Emasagra renueva un año más el sello Bequal Plus por la inclusión de las personas con discapacidad

La Empresa Municipal de Abastecimiento y Saneamiento de Granada, Emasagra, participada por el Ayuntamiento de la capital e Hidralia, ha sido reconocida de nuevo, un año más, con el Sello Bequal PLUS que otorga la Fundación Bequal y que certifica su política de inclusión con las personas con discapacidad.
Para la renovación de dicho certificado, que estará vigente hasta el 20 de diciembre de 2022, la Fundación Bequal ha realizado una auditoria del cumplimiento en materia de inclusión y accesibilidad, partiendo del cumplimento de la cuota de reserva del 2% en materia de empleo para personas con discapacidad, según lo establecido en la Ley General de derechos de las personas con discapacidad y su inclusión social.
El certificado Bequal es una fórmula de evaluación por un tercero, que determina el grado de compromiso de las empresas en materia de Responsabilidad Social Corporativa y Discapacidad en áreas esenciales como son la estrategia y liderazgo, la gestión de los recursos humanos, la atención en igualdad de condiciones a todos los ciudadanos o la inclusión de cláusulas sociales en las licitaciones públicas.
Además, las organizaciones que consiguen el Certificado Bequal demuestran su compromiso y contribución con el cumplimiento de los ODS, especialmente el ODS 8 sobre trabajo decente y el ODS 10 sobre reducción de las desigualdades, entre otros. El Sello Bequal no significa únicamente ser una empresa socialmente responsable con la discapacidad, significa también alinearse con la Agenda Internacional y apostar por un mundo más sostenible.
Emasagra gestiona el ciclo urbano del agua de forma directa en la ciudad de Granada y en 14 municipios del cinturón metropolitano, basa su estrategia en un modelo sostenible y responsable, centrado en las personas y el cuidado del medio ambiente, fomentando una cultura que garantiza la igualdad de oportunidades para todas las personas.
