El Ayuntamiento de Granada expone en ‘Greencities’ la apuesta por la descarbonización de Emasagra
El teniente alcalde del Ayuntamiento de Granada y miembro del Consejo de Administración de Emasagra, Jacobo Calvo, ha participado hoy en Málaga, en el Congreso ‘Greencities’, concretamente en la mesa redonda titulada ‘Acción por el clima, experiencias de éxito’ y en la que ha puesto de manifiesto el modelo empresarial de la compañía de Aguas de Granada, primera en el sector en lograr la neutralidad climática, y los avances de la misma en economía circular y descarbonización con los referentes de la Biofactoría Sur y del Centro de Inteligencia del Agua.
Calvo intervino en la mesa -organizada por Hidralia, que participa junto al Ayuntamiento de Granada en Emasagra- junto a la alcaldesa de San Fernando, Patricia Cavada; el alcalde de Paterna, Juan Antonio Segredo; y la directora general de Sostenibilidad Ambiental y Cambio Climático de la Junta, María López Sanchís. En su intervención, el concejal granadino destacó la clave de la transformación digital de la empresa -que obtuvo el Premio Andalucía de Medio Ambiente en 2021- para ofrecer un servicio sostenible a las personas y para lograr una ciudad inteligente, resiliente y verde. Resaltó también la gestión en la Biofactoría Sur, epicentro de economía circular y donde 75.000 metros cúbicos de agua residual, el total de su capacidad, sirven para autoabastecimiento energético, elaboración de compost y recursos para el riego.
