Diciembre ha sido un mes clave para la recuperación de los indicadores laborales previos a la pandemia. Granada ha cerrado el año con 80.922 parados y 350.250 afiliados a la Seguridad Social, dos cifras que mejoran incluso los datos de febrero de 2020, justo antes de que estallara la crisis económica.
Solo en diciembre y gracias al efecto de la campaña navideña, Granada ha conseguido reducir el paro en 3.167 personas (-3,77%) y sumar a la Seguridad Social 7.321 nuevos afiliados (+2,13%). Estas cifras, que mejoran incluso la evolución media de Andalucía y España, se sustentan principalmente en el sector servicios (-2.272 parados) y la agricultura (-649 parados), aunque también han contribuido el colectivo sin empleo anterior (-401) y la industria (-108). Solo la construcción, con 263 parados más, ha visto crecer los datos del paro en diciembre.
Sin embargo, pese a la mejora evidente de los principales indicadores laborales, “todavía no podemos hablar de recuperación plena”. Así lo asegura la secretaria general de la Confederación Granadina de Empresarios (CGE), María Vera, que recuerda que ni la situación de las empresas es la que era antes de la crisis, ni el horizonte está todavía despejado para la actividad económica.
“Que 2021, un año muy complicado para nuestra economía, se haya cerrado con menos paro y más afiliación que antes de la crisis es, evidentemente, una excelente noticia. Pero no podemos perder de vista que las empresas están sufriendo todavía las consecuencias de muchos meses de inactividad, restricciones y escasez de demanda. Las empresas granadinas afrontan 2022 con un elevado endeudamiento, que en muchos casos se está traduciendo ya en problemas de solvencia; con un notable descenso de la productividad; y con los costes empresariales desbocados”.
A esto hay que sumar, según Vera, “la incertidumbre de esta sexta ola que está empezando a limitar la actividad”, un escenario que coincide además con el fin de la campaña navideña y el descenso de la demanda propio del mes de enero.
La secretaria general de la CGE advierte de que, en un contexto como el actual, es crucial poner en marcha políticas y medidas que “acompañen a las empresas en la recuperación”, ya que esta será la única garantía para dejar atrás la crisis del coronavirus.
